LLESSUR Unveils ‘Untitled’ – A Material Study in Form, Memory, and Intention
Share

LLESSUR unveils its fifth collection, Untitled, a quiet yet confident body of work rooted in restraint, craftsmanship, and transformation. Eschewing conventional fashion narratives, Untitled stands not as a conclusion, but as an opening. It is a gesture—unfinished, suggestive, and ultimately, interpretive. In a cultural moment saturated by excess and immediacy, this collection is an intentional slowing down.
From the first sketch to the final fitting, the collection was designed around a singular principle: material as meaning. Every fabric used in Untitled is either upcycled, deadstock, or biodegradable. The focus is not on novelty, but on rediscovery—reworking what already exists into something newly essential. In LLESSUR’s hands, sustainability is not a label. It is a discipline.

The material language of the collection is rich with contrast and nuance:
Denim, often seen as utilitarian, is elevated into sculptural form. On a gown, its structure is softened through cut; on paneled jeans, both sides of the fabric are used to create layered tonal effects.
A Navajo pattern wool-cotton jacquard, carefully sourced, adds depth and cultural resonance. It appears on a mandarin-collar jacket with a front metal zipper and a pair of pleated, combo-fabric shorts—technical, tailored, and bold.
Rib knits, some with a metallic sheen, are used in unconventional draped cut-out tops—nicknamed “finger knits”—as well as relaxed elastic-waist trousers. These pieces are built for movement, texture-forward yet grounded in comfort.
Double crepe, with its dry elegance, appears in a mini strapless boned cocktail dress and as the structural balance to flowing silk embroidered satin on the duster coat—a key piece in the collection.
Silk embroidered satin, delicate but grounded in craftsmanship, features as patch panels on a recycled mesh long sleeve shirt and provides visual weight to the aforementioned coat.
And finally, silk organza—light, sheer, and commanding—is the cornerstone of the collection’s hero piece: a floor-length flared coat that defies gravity and defines silhouette. It is at once ephemeral and architectural.

Color tells a secondary story—emotional and layered:
Shades of indigo and marine blue evoke memory and depth.
Washed demon blue, a haunted neutral, offers a lived-in coolness.
Marigold yellow and maroon red bring warmth and optimism.
Jet black and oatmeal white serve as anchors, while aubergine purple bridges elegance with earthiness.

The silhouettes throughout Untitled speak a precise language: engineered cuts, fluid forms, and intentional asymmetries. Some pieces are structured and tailored; others are soft and experimental. There are coats with sweeping volumes, dresses that hover between architectural and undone, and trousers that are both utilitarian and poetic. Across the board, the collection explores tension—between hard and soft, minimal and maximal, seen and unseen.

This tension is also emotional. Untitled is about identity as process. These garments don’t tell the wearer who to be. They give space to evolve, adapt, and assert meaning over time. LLESSUR doesn’t follow seasons—it builds an archive. And Untitled is the next layer in that archive: more introspective, more intentional, more refined.
